Tourism Society Wales
2008 Awards
The Tourism Society Wales, in conjunction with the Wales Tourism Alliance, are seeking nominations for two prestigious awards.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award acknowledges an individuals outstanding contribution to tourism in Wales . Those nominated will have demonstrated over a number of years their commitment and professionalism and how this has significantly improving the status and credibility of the industry in Wales .
This Award is an accolade for a professional from professionals in tourism.
Outstanding Young Professional Award
The future of tourism will depend on individuals that are destine to become one of Wales 's leading tourism professionals. This award is being established to encourage younger members of the tourism industry to aspire to become one of its future leaders.
This Award is to accolade and encourage the future leaders of tourism in Wales by acknowledging their potential.
How to Nominate
The Awards will be presented at the Tourism Society Wales summer lunch on Friday 27 June 2008. This will be held at Fonmon Castle , Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan.
