The Tourism Society - People in all the right places

The Tourism Society Yorkshire branch is holding an informal 'Pie and a Pint' event on Thursday 20th January from 6pm.

Location: the Bay Horse Hotel, Marygate, York.

All tourism operators are welcome from anywhere in Yorkshire...

Because we have asked the pub to reserve space it would help to know how many are coming so please send a note back by email to say you will be there - to: johngallery@greatpotential.co.uk. If you can't commit in advance just turn up anyway, I am sure there will be room!

There is no entry fee - just buy your own drink and join this opportunity to meet informally with industry colleagues, share ideas and to help set the agenda for future activities.

As we have started 2011 and much change is afoot - a new national tourism strategy proposed, local tourism funding changing and so on, Tourism Society Yorkshire will be an important independent forum and we will feed your ideas and wishes back to Tourism Society London HQ for onward independent representations to the government - so please come and have your say.
