The aim of this event is to explore through developing an understanding of the Scottish Government’s objectives behind Homecoming 2014 and the intervening thematic years, Stirling Council’s plans for the Battle of Bannockburn 700th Anniversary celebrations in June 2014,  reflection on best practice from Homecoming 2009, and discussion amongst industry participants how the Scottish tourism industry, individual businesses, and destinations can maximise the benefits and opportunities from Homecoming 2014.
