17th May at Shefield Hallam University
This year’s TMI Hot Topic is now open for bookings at
www.tmi-events.org.uk
Themed ‘Shaping Destinations for the Future’, this year’s one-day conference is designed for the ever-widening range of those involved in destination management. This includes destination managers and consultants, board members of DMOs and emerging LEPs, as well as those currently seeking new careers.
• New for 2011, there is the option to bring up to 2 non-member guests at member rates, enabling you to introduce colleagues and board members to TMI and share in the experience.
• Book a group of 4 people for the same ticket type and you can benefit from 1 place at 50% off.
The majority of speakers are experienced destination managers from England and Wales, keen to share their insights and plans, as well as top tips for the future. Between them, they will cover coastal resorts, major cities, national parks and heritage cities. Bringing it together, we will have presentations from VisitEngland and the Tourism Alliance, as well as plenty of opportunities for questions and debate.
For those able to arrive the day before, the 16th May will see an optional and complimentary Urban Regeneration Tour of Sheffield, followed by informal networking in a local hostelry. Everyone attending will be credited with 7 hours Professional Development, and a further 2 hours if joining the regeneration tour.
Delegate rates start at just £95 + VAT for TMI Members if booked before the Early Bird date of Tuesday, May 3rd. There are also special rates at the nearby Jurys Inn for the first to book.
