Conference delegates are invited to visit Haydock Park Racecourse in St. Helens and the new Liverpool Arena on the morning of Thursday 19 June. Linking in to the 'Business Tourism' and 'Regional Perspective' sessions of the conference the following day, these visits will showcase two attractions that the NW region can boast that offer unique and high class products and services to business tourists from the UK and across the globe.

Liverpool 's Echo Arena is a state of the art 10,000 plus seat arena situated in the beautiful location of the Kings Dock on the River Mersey. Host to the opening ceremony of the Capital of Culture Year in January 2008, Echo Arena Liverpool will be the centre of entertainment for concert goers and sports enthusiasts across the NorthWest and NorthWales.

Haydock Park , one of the country's most visited courses, has 29 racedays in 2008 and a range of first-class facilities set in 127 acres of grounds. Haydock Park has become one of the NorthWest's leading conference centres, with a selection of first-class suites accommodating up to 500 guests for conferences and events, weddings, dinners and exhibitions.

The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday 19 June at the prestigious Knowsley Hall which lies in 2,500 acres of private parkland just 7 miles from the centre of Liverpool . The Hall has been home to the Earls of Derby since 1385, and houses an outstanding and historically important collection of fine art.
