The University of Surrey teams up with The Tourism Society to present THE (Tourism, Hospitality, Events) Careers Day on Wednesday, 24 March, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Lecture Theatre Block.
The Division of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Careers Service, Tourism Society, and the Surrey Tourism and Events Society have joined forces to introduce the broad career options available in tourism, hospitality and events industries. The event will start with THE Careers Talks from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Chaired by Mr. Danny Waine, co-founder of Perfect Weddings Abroad, four well respected industry guests will deliver advice on working in THE industry.
Fourteen companies and organisations spanning from local businesses to multinational corporations will also come to Surrey to provide careers information and recruitment opportunities at THE Careers Fair from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Professor Andrew Lockwood, Head of Division of Hospitality and Tourism, comments: “We wanted to enhance our offering to students and underline our position by supporting this careers event."

THE Careers Day is free and open to Surrey students, external students, and the public, however the talk session has sold out.
