Stena Line Newest Signing

Date:
14 June 2010

The Tourism Society announced at its Annual Conference in London that Stena Line has become the newest corporate partner, joining Lloyds TSB and The Carrier Group (also sponsors of the conference).

Nigel Tilson, Stena Line’s UK Communications Manager, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Tourism Society. We are always keen to support tourism and to provide help and encouragement in improving standards of professionalism within the industry. We also like to encourage people to travel - by ferry, naturally.”

Tourism Society Chairman, Alison Cryer commented “We are delighted to have a prominent transport carrier such as Stena Line who have chosen to support the Tourism Society as corporate partners. We aim to work together very closely in order to maximise the benefits for both organisations.

This signing further strengthens the Society’s position as the membership of choice for tourism professionals across all sectors.”

The Tourism Society’s calendar of events includes a debate with the UNWTO on 23rd September and the Annual Dinner at the House of Commons on 28th October. Visit www.tourismsociety.org for more information and to book tickets.
