What Else Does 2012 Hold?

Date:
25 February 2011

2012 has become synonymous with the Olympics, however continuous business for the rest of the year will be crucial to the industry. 2012 The Olympics Plus…? is an important event that will discuss what is being done to promote inbound and domestic tourism throughout the non-Olympic period of 2012. How important is it to emphasise that most of 2012 is not related to the Olympics? What is being done about it? How should operators, hoteliers, TICs, DMOs, attractions etc position themselves and what can they really expect to happen?

Newly reappointed chairman of VisitBritian Christopher Rodrigues will headline The Tourism Society panel to discuss opportunities for domestic and inbound tourism at the of Best of Britain and Ireland (BoBI) Travel Trade Forum on Thursday 17 March.
