Visas are the Key to the Age of Travel “If the industry finds one key topic and presents it with a coherent voice, internationally, that will be the strongest way to facilitate the growth of tourism.” This was the message that came out of the Tourism Society’s event at World Travel Market on November 9th.
‘Managing Tourism’s Future Business’, organised in association with the UNWTO, brought together a panel of respected experts in a discussion forum, chaired by Geoffrey Lipman FTS.
Welcome to The World of Opportunity This year’s ‘Future You’ event, which took place on November 10th at World Travel Market, once again provided a perfect opportunity for students of travel and tourism to hear inspiring stories about securing their top job in the industry.
Danny Waine, MD of Perfect Weddings Abroad and Chair of the event, introduced representatives of VisitEngland, Manchester Airports Group (MAG) and ABTA to the 500 attendees. The panel discussed opportunities in their different sectors to open the students’ eyes to the extremely diverse range of jobs and graduate schemes that are available in the industry.

Capital Allowances: NEW Legislation Seminar
1st December 6-9pm, London
If you own property and have not yet claimed your capital allowance entitlement, time may be running out. Capital allowances can be worth as much as 10% of the purchase price of the building, but legislation due out next year will vastly reduce the time within which a claim must be made. Once the legislation comes in to force, thousands of businesses will lose the ability to make a claim forever. This event is aimed at owners of commercial property, whether they are pub, hotels or offices, costing more than £250,000. BOOK NOW
